He has provided his expertise and confidential advice to candidate cities for the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games; cities considering candidature for the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games; and bidding and organizing committees for the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.
