Trevor Walsh
Senior Manager, Human Resources
Since 1999, Trevor Walsh has been privileged to contribute to the organisation of some of the world’s most prestigious events. His event resumé includes involvement in every level of national and international sport competition including the Canada Games, Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games.
Walsh’s forte is in developing and implementing strategies to prepare for large, people driven operations such as Olympic Games. Often working within a Human Resources environment, he creates tools and processes which support the mobilisation of large workforces with the goal of ensuring a high level of service to clients, staff, stakeholders and event guests.
He understands that good service levels are achieved by ensuring that the right number of staff are recruited, deployed and retained during event operations, while maintaining budgetary vigilance. His orderly approach to temporary workforce utilisation has helped him succeed through ten major international events.
